The Llano River Bridge in the town of Llano carries combined highways 16 and 71 over the river. On the south side of the river and the east side of the highway there is small park with a parking lot and rest room. You can walk, with some scrambling required, down to the river from this park. Both the north and south ends of the dam have deep holes immediately below the dam face that hold fish. You can also wade downstream and fish current seams and banks.
The photos were taken on September 20. 2007 with the river flow at about 400cps.
