Llano County Road 102 crosses the Llano river about eight miles west of the town of Llano. The road crosses a wide expanse of the river bed that is dry at normal flows. This exposed river bed provides many places to park your vehicle.
The photos were taken on September 28. 2007 with the river flow at the USGS gauging station upstream near Mason reading 410 cfs and the gauging station downstream at Llano reading 330 cfs.
