Lampasas River at Chalk Ridge Falls Park

Links

Description

Chalk Ridge Falls Park is on the Lampasas River immediately downstream from the Stillhouse Hollow dam. The park is built around a small spring creek flowing into the Lampasas River, about a half mile below the dam. The creek has a nine foot waterfall about 200 yards before it feeds into the Lampasas Hiking trails in the park follow the stream up to the falls and then down along the Lampasas River for quite a way down the river. There are many places along the trails where it easy to enter the water for wade fishing.
