Description
Stratford Drive runs along the South Side of Lady Bird Lake on the upstream side of Zilker Park. Just upstream of the Loop 1 bridge there is a small dock used mostly by rowers (Austin Rowing Dock 2418 Stratford Drive). This dock, which is just a little over one mile downstream from the downstream tip of Redbud island, provides a place to launch your personal canoe, kick boat, or kayak. There is a small parking lot, which fills up quickly on the weekends.
