The lower level of the launch steps

This site is at the upper end of Granger lake. At normal lake levels it is just down stream from the place where the running water of the San Gabriel river meets the slack water of Granger Lake. There is a large gravel parking area and a primitive boat launch site. The launch site is simply a set of dirt and railroad tie steps leading down to the water that make it reasonably easy to carry a canoe or kayak down the river bank to the water.
